My sister Heather Holtaway Torres paints dreamy spaces in a variety of media for me to carefully embroider through by hand.

A bit more about her: Heather lives with her family in the woods outside of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The family land her and her husband were married on not only holds their cozy magical home, but a rotating crew of chickens, rabbits, dogs and occasional visits from the friendly cows next door. She inspires those around her daily to dream big, think very far from the box and add some magic to every moment possible. Heather’s art and assistant mural work can be found around the country in California, New Mexico, Dallas, Chicago, Carrboro, Durham, Raleigh and even the local Trader Joe’s.
