Hand stitched rows of needlepoint stitched through repurposed window screen create a colorblocked landscape of Mt Taylor, the Three Sisters volcanoes and a vast mesa, with negative space prickly pear cactus in the foreground (all of which are the natural compass pointing west to those in the Albuquerque area)
The thread used is previously owned but unused embroidery floss
Framed with a repurposed rustic brown wood picture frame
A small sawtooth hook is attached to the back for hanging.
